Cranbrook Care is looking for an Executive Chef to join the team at our award-winning aged care residence, Bella Vista Gardens, located in Sydney Hills District. Bella Vista Gardens is a carefully considered modern residence that offers all of the comforts of home, in an elegant, architecturally designed and very personalised environment ABOUT THE ROLE We believe that delicious, fresh food is integral to an enjoyable and healthy lifestyle. Dining is a fabulous social occasion that is always one of the most important aspects of our residents' days. We are seeking an Executive Chef who: - Is committed to delivering an exceptional level of service
- Is responsive to the changes to the dietary requirements of residents
- Can work as part of the residences Leadership Team
- Has proven experience in managing and leading a kitchen team
- Is committed to delivering quality services to our elderly residents
ABOUT YOU You Will: - Have a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or other related trade qualification
- Have experience in aged care, hospital or hotel background
- be experienced in deliverng high quality food services
- Have a sound understanding of all regulatory compliance and food safety associated with cooking for vulnerable persons
- Hygiene & infection control knowledge a must
- Have strong communication and time management skills
- Good computer literacy skills an advantage
- Be organised, passionate and possess a 'can do' attitude
- Can provide positive and caring leadership and set a high bar for PPE
